This is the main source of confusion when dealing with access restrictions in DD-WRT. See Eko's forum post for more information. The Filter option is used to block access to web sites, services, or keywords. However, it does not block internet altogether like the "Deny" option does. Nor does it allow internet access during times that a Deny Access restrictions enforced indefinitely after a - DD-WRT It seems that the access restrictions work fine until the router reboots (I have a Scheduled Reboot at 04:50 each day) after which the access restrictions appear to remain in force indefinitely. When I first started researching this, I was thrilled to discover that DD-WRT already had a control for "Access Restrictions", named "WAN Access". All their documentation describes exactly what I was trying to accomplish. The only problem is: it doesn't work!
